Embracing God’s Strength for the Battle
But He said to me, My grace is always more than enough for you, and My power finds its full expression through your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9)
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. (Ephesians 6:10-11)
As Believers, we must understand there is a dichotomy—an apparent contradiction in our experience—because the only pathway to experience God’s power is through experiencing our own weakness!
In fact, my weakness, my anxiety, my disappointments can all accumulate and make me feel deep, emotional, and even physical weariness.
- Does fatigue seem to dominate your life?
- Are you feeling you’re always running on empty?
- Would you say God’s grace and strength are more academic topics, rather than actual realities to be experienced?
There is a way forward—finding encouragement that our feelings of weakness and fatigue can make us more open to allow God to step into our weakness!
Join us this Sunday as we make room for the Holy Spirit to bring us all from Fatigue to Fortitude…
