From Fatigue to Fortitude: Put on Salvation as Your Helmet. (Ephesians 6:17)
There’s no doubt by this time, you’re seeing that all of the weapons, directly or indirectly, involve the Word of God and the Spirit of God—all of them!
Paul’s army and warfare metaphor for conveying the truth we need is brilliant: we’re in a life and death struggle! Our solution is engaging with God and putting on the armour He provides!
Among many other things, putting on Salvation as your Helmet involves:
thinking like a Believer while the battle rages around you
learning how to change your thinking patterns (renewing the mind)
using offensive and defensive strategies
recognizing your battle ground
learning the “how-to” of taking every thought into captivity—the basis of your transformation!
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2)
Let God transform you: with no exaggeration, wearing salvation as a helmet will help save your life and transform your soul!
Armour selection, fittings, and a practical use seminar—all happen this Sunday!
